NEW Cyberstar Forged CB(October 31st 2005) The Latest Iron Technology from Yonex
Torrance, CA – October 25, 2005: The Cyberstar Forged CB Iron is the latest addition to the Cyberstar family of products at Yonex Corporation. Manufactured with forged carbon steel, it provides the unique solid feel preferred by Tour caliber and low handicap golfers. Retailing for $1,040.00, the Cyberstar Forged CB comes equipped with a True Temper Dynamic Golf S300 Steel Shaft.
The cavity and bridge construction in this new club is a true breakthrough in club design. According to Chitose Renge, President and CEO of Yonex USA, “The bridge in the cavity area provides a stronger ball flight even on off-center hits by stabilizing torque at impact. The Forged CB features a shorter hosel, which reduces head weight. This mass is now redistributed to the bridge in the cavity area closer to the heel. This feature alone maximizes forgiveness without sacrificing feel and workability.”
The clubs also offer a unique Face Layer Thickness Design whereby the Long irons (# 3, #4, #5) feature a larger sole width and thinner face thickness for lower center of gravity. The Mid irons (#6, #7) come equipped with a medium sole width and face thickness for unmatched distance control and shot making precision. The thinner sole and thicker face on the Short irons (#8, #9, PW) provide “stop-on-dime” spin performance, Tour level “muscle back” type balance and feel for “fire-at-the-pin” accuracy.
