THINK SPRING AND NEW GOLF EQUIPMENT(Feb 9th 2006) The PGA Show was a big success for Ahead, Etonic and YES! Golf. Customers were very excited about the 2006 product line-up. The Ahead Rain Suit is 100% polyester and is waterproof seam sealed to keep water out. The jacket features rain-proof stretch inserts at the shoulders for easy movement. The pants have a waterproof zipper inside the leg for easy on and off. Ahead staff member Retief Goosen will be wearing this on TOUR in 2006. The Ahead Rain Jacket comes in two colors: Dark Navy and Cadet Blue and retails for $100.00 and the Rain Pant comes in Dark Navy and retail for $90.00. Both pieces are available March 1, 2006 in size S – 2X. Ahead also has a new line of Water Resistant Wind Shirts. Etonic has added the world’s premier waterproof system – GORE-TEX®, to their line of performance shoes for 2006:Difference 3Z, ST-GT and the new G>SOK GT. The popular G>SOK line has been expanded with the G>SOK GT. Designed to target the golfer looking for a more classic look with additional performance elements, this shoe delivers. The G>SOK GT uses a classic last, along with an upper featuring a Gore-Tex® membrane that is 100% waterproof and breathable, and comes with a 2-year waterproof warranty. The non-cleated outsole has expanded stability bars and flex zones for additional traction and comfort. The G>SOK GT comes in 3 colorways: black, white/black and white/brown) and a full size run:7 – 12, 13, 14 M and 7 –12, 13W. Available May 15, 2006 the golf shoe will retail for $139.00. Carolyne has arrived!! YES! Golf the c-groove putter company has added a new model for 2006. Carolyne is a face-balanced putter made of 304 stainless steel, featuring a larger head for greater forgiveness on off-center hits. The center shafted putter is available with a loft of 2.5° (standard); Lie 72° (2° flat or upright available) and comes in the following right-handed offerings: Standard 32”- 37”, Belly 40” – 45”, and Long 45”–50.” The Carolyne will be available February 15, 2006 for a suggested retail of $190.00 for standard and $230.00 for belly and long.
