PeakVision Sports Names Michael Harmelink Chief Financial Officer
Industry Veteran to Manage Capital Raising Program
(December 12th 2005) (OVERLAND PARK, Kansas) – PeakVision Sports, makers of the patented Dual-Zone technology, 100-percent distortion-free sunglasses designed specifically for golfers, today announces it has named Michael Harmelink Chief Financial Officer.
An industry veteran with more than 15 years experience in capital growth and management, Harmelink has been involved in numerous entrepreneurial opportunities. He was co-founder of Adea Solutions, a $150 million information technology consulting firm based in Dallas, and held senior management positions at several technology companies, including Digital Archaeology in Kansas City and STG in London, England.
“Michael brings an incredible amount of experience, savvy and energy to PeakVision Sports,” says PeakVision Sports CEO and founder Paul Moore. “His capital generation and asset management skills will help take PeakVision to the next level.”
In addition to his raising capital at the above companies, Harmelink has successfully participated in a number of high-profile corporate acquisitions. His financial career began with Payless ShoeSource and The Coca-Cola Company, where he established himself as an up-and-comer in the industry. Harmelink is focused on developing the financial and information technology infrastructure for the PeakVision Sports and insuring it has sufficient capital to pursue its corporate growth objectives.
“I am excited to join PeakVision Sports and to be a part of something I view as a once in a lifetime opportunity,” says Harmelink. “PeakVision offers a product that is unique within the industry and provides golfers with a competitive advantage that other performance eyewear doesn’t.”
These competitive advantages parallel PeakVision’s “See Better, Play Better” moniker and are causing golfers – including PGA TOUR players Billy Andrade and Scott McCarron, Champions Tour great Bruce Fleisher, and golf commentator David Feherty -- to rapidly adopt PeakVision sunglasses as a valuable component in their equipment arsenal. Moreover, the innovative eyewear has become increasing popular with caddies on all professional tours – whose very livelihood depends upon accurately reading greens.
