PeakVision Sports Introduces Edge Model

Reduced Profile Frame Features Aggressive Styling, Solid Construction

(January 16th 2005) (OVERLAND PARK, Kan.) – PeakVision Sports, makers of the patented Dual-Zone technology, 100-percent distortion-free sunglasses designed specifically for golfers, today introduces its Edge-3343 high performance eyewear model, available at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show held January 26-29 at the Orange County Convention in Orlando, Fla.

Edge is a low-profile sport frame crafted from a handsome aluminum-magnesium alloy. Its reduced profile is designed to fit small and narrow faces, and its flexible frames adjust to a variety of head shapes. Features include:

Aggressive “sport” styling
Solid construction with a superior fit
Adjustable nose bridge
Spring loaded temples and soft temple ends
Two hi-tech anodized finishes – Graphite and Aztec Bronze
MSRP $169

Like PeakVision’s other seven models, Edge features the company’s patented, Dual-Zone lenses. The neutral-density gray upper zone manages bright sun and sky, filtering and protecting against harmful UVA and UVB rays. The spectrally-tuned amber lower zone highlights contours on greens and other course features, providing golfers with an unprecedented amount of information about the playing surface.

Already popular by way of a limited product release to PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour players, Edge will be featured on The Golf Channel’s hit reality show, The Big Break V, beginning in February. Edge – along with the full slate of PeakVision sunglasses -- will be available to the cast of all-female contestants, as well as show hosts Vince Cellini, Stephanie Sparks and the entire production crew.

“Edge complements the PeakVision line of high performance optics by providing reduced profile frame that is extremely light weight, sporty and durable,” says PeakVision Sports CEO and founder Paul Moore. “PeakVision sunglasses have been rapidly adopted within the professional golf ranks and by everyday golfers who experience the game improvement that goes with enhanced on-course vision and the health benefits derived from 100 percent UV protection.”

PeakVision’s “See Better, Play Better” competitive advantage is enjoyed by PGA TOUR players Billy Andrade and Scot McCarron, Champions Tour legend Bruce Fleisher, golf “color” commentator David Feherty, and LPGA Tour players Moira Dunn, Mikaela Parmlid and Heather Bowie. These highly competitive golfers and hundreds of other caddies and weekend warriors have unequivocally embraced PeakVision Sports sunglasses as a valuable component in their equipment arsenal. In addition to golfers performing at higher levels wearing PeakVision sunglasses, they are also popular among skiers, professional baseball umpires and pilots.
