PeakVision Sports Featured on ‘The Big Break V’ Premiering February 7

Golf-Specific Sunglasses Hit The Golf Channel’s Popular Reality Show

(February 2nd 2006) (OVERLAND PARK, Kansas) – “The Big Break V,” the latest installment of The Golf Channel’s popular reality-based golf skills competition, will premier Tuesday, February 7 at 9 p.m. featuring PeakVision Sports patented Dual-Zone technology, 100-percent distortion-free golf sunglasses.

The Big Break V’s cast of all-female contestants will have access to the full suite of PeakVision’s high-performance eyewear, including the original Chip, Classic, Neva, Shot, Slam and Spin models, as well as the new Edge and GR4 models introduced at the 2006 PGA Merchandise Show.

Show hosts Vince Cellini and Stephanie Sparks will wear PeakVisions during appropriate takes as desired, and The Big Break V production crew will be featured wearing their “Peaks” during episodes of “Big Break V All-Access,” the behind the scenes show.

Wearing sunglasses during competition will be optional for the women of The Big Break V. However, founder and CEO Paul Moore believes the high-performance optics’ ability to enhance green breaks and fairway contours, and the Dual Zone/Zero Distortion vision and superior optical protection provided by Peaks will lead to contestants giving Peaks a try.

“Having recently signed LPGA Tour players Moira Dunn, Mikaela Parmlid and Heather Bowie as endorsers of the product, PeakVision eyewear has gained acceptance with highly-competitive female golfers,” says Moore. “Professional, amateur and recreational golfers are experiencing the PeakVision ‘See Better, Play Better’ moniker and are adopting Peaks as part of their equipment arsenal.”

The Big Break V filmed October 16-30 at the luxurious Turtle Bay Resort on Oahu’s legendary North Shore. Contestants tested their skills on the George Fazio designed resort course, site of the inaugural Senior Skins Game, and the Arnold Palmer designed championship course – home of the Champions Tour’s Turtle Bay Championship. All told, The Golf Channel will feature 200 program-hours of The Big Break V and The Big Break V All-Access between the February 7 premier and the May 9 finale.
