NATIONAL FATHER & SON TEAM CLASSIC ADDS ARROWHEAD COUNTRY CLUB TO 2006 COURSE ROTATION

(April 12th 2006) Myrtle Beach, S.C. – The Executive Tournament Committee of the Martin’s PGA TOUR Superstore National Father & Son Team Classic is pleased to announce the addition of Arrowhead Country Club to the 2006 course rotation. The 9th annual event will be held July 20-22, 2006 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Arrowhead Country Club is Myrtle Beach's Premier 27-Hole Golf Resort conveniently located five minutes from the Myrtle Beach International Airport. With a canvas of Bermuda Fairways and Bent Grass Greens, the team of Ray Floyd and Tom Jackson have created a 27-hole masterpiece along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway. Arrowhead features three 9-hole tracts: The Waterway, The Cypress and The Lakes. Each nine-hole layout is unique, featuring uncommon elevations, hardwood wetlands and the most impeccable manicured holes in the area. Arrowhead was awarded South Carolina's Golf Course of the Year in 1998. “Arrowhead is one of the Grand Strand’s best conditioned golf courses and we are extremely pleased to add them to the 2006 rotation,” said Aaron Allen, Tournament Director.

The National Father & Son Team Classic is the largest father and son golf competition in the world. Played on the Grand Strand's most requested golf courses, the championship is a 54-hole event offering a different format each day. The 2005 event drew more than 1,400 players from 44 states and eight foreign countries. This year’s tournament host sites include Arrowhead Country Club, Barefoot Resort & Golf, Farmstead Golf Links, Grand Dunes Golf Club, Legends Golf Resorts, Myrtlewood Golf Club, Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club, Tidewater Golf Club, Tournament Players Club of Myrtle Beach, Wachesaw Plantation East and Wild Wing Plantation.
