Dynamic Gold Sweeps Again(October 24th 2005) True Temper Sweeps PGA, Champions, and European Tours Over The Weekend Memphis, TN… Once again, True Temper’s Flagship, Dynamic Gold, had a dominant week on the links, sweeping both events this weekend, and further solidifying it’s position as the winningest shaft in the history of professional golf. Perhaps the best story of the week came to pass in Lake Buena Vista, Florida at the Funai Classic where the title was decided by a flurry of late-round birdies. The Champion, trusting Dynamic Gold in his irons, wedges, and 5-wood, capped a great stretch run with a 40ft birdie at 17, and an improbable hole-out from the greenside bunker on the final hole. On the Champions Tour a second-straight 5-under 66 was enough to win at the SBC Championship. The Champion, armed with Dynamic Gold in his irons, has been the hottest golfer on the tour, winning two of the last 3 events giving him 9 career tour wins. In addition, this was his second career win at the Oak Hills Country Club, where he won the Valero Texas Open back in 1993. Closing at 10-under 270, the Champion moves into the top 5 on the European Tour money list, potentially earning him a slot on the Ryder cup team next year.
