INDEPENDENT SURVEY REVEALS COBRA DRIVERS LEAD IN PLAYER SATISFACTION
(November 30th, 2005) King Cobra Drivers Rated #1 in Player Satisfaction Two Years in a Row
Carlsbad, CA - According to Darrell Survey U.S. Consumer Research, a leading independent golf consumer research company,
Cobra drivers ranked number one in "Overall Driver Satisfaction Ratings"
in both 2003 and 2004.
The Darrell Survey Company performed on-course interviews, asking
players to rate their driver in use that day. Players rated their
drivers in five categories: accuracy, distance, feel, forgiveness and
value. An overall score was tabulated based on scores in each category.
Cobra not only came out on top in player satisfaction two years in a
row, their drivers topped all five rating categories in the 2004 survey.
"The Darrell Survey results clearly demonstrate the superior performance
and satisfaction levels our drivers provide," said Jeff Harmet,
President, Cobra Golf. "We believe this is a direct result of our
mission to make the game more enjoyable for avid golfers through our
continued promotion of high-performance, technically innovative,
superior performing golf clubs. We focus aggressively on trial programs
because we're confident that once a player tries our clubs, they will
experience more power, greater accuracy and forgiveness."
To get King Cobra clubs into golfers' hands, the company conducts more
than 3,000 Demo Days annually across the United States. To enhance a
number of these events, two new Cobra Tech Vans travel the country
year-round, visiting on and off course locations. In addition, 1,250
authorized Cobra Custom Fitting locations have been established at golf
retailers across the U.S.
