Ben Sutton Golf School Names Jennifer Beckman Hospitality Coordinator

America’s Longest-Running Golf School to Enhance Overall Student Experience

(February 7th 2006) (SUN CITY CENTER, Fla.) -- Ben Sutton Golf School -- the nation’s longest-running, largest golf instruction destination located between Tampa and Sarasota -- today announces that Jennifer Beckman has been named to the position of Hospitality Coordinator.

Beckman will assume a variety of responsibilities, including coordinating the classroom materials and new-student orientation, organizing special events and assisting with accommodations for students. Beckman will also manage supply and equipment purchasing for training and teaching at the golf school.

“We are thrilled to add Jennifer’s wealth of talent and experience, as well as her outgoing personality, to our staff,” says Dick Sutton, president of Ben Sutton Golf School. “Her passion and leadership combined with Ben Sutton’s top-quality facilities will continue our tradition of excellence.”

Before joining Ben Sutton Golf School, Beckman worked as an account executive for Oakwood Corporate Housing, maintaining accounts as well as developing new business for the company. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Marriott Hotels in several key positions, including director of sales and general manger. Beckman graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and holds a bachelor’s of science in advertising and marketing.

“I look forward to combining my knowledge with the first-class hospitality that has been a trademark of the Ben Sutton Golf School for the past 36 years,” says Beckman. “Students here work hard, but we also strive to provide them with a relaxing, enjoyable experience after their instruction sessions.”

Ben Sutton Golf School has been continually operated since 1969, and its Florida campus has hosted students from around the world since 1974. Recently, the school announced the opening of a new northeastern campus located at the Windham House Resort in Windham, New York. Scheduled to open in April, students participating in any instruction program will have access to the property’s 7,072-yard championship Mountain Course, opened in 2002, and the nine-hole, beginner-friendly “Valley 9” executive course. Also available to students are all Windham House amenities, including: spacious, comfortable rooms spread among six buildings; “fast-dry” tennis court; pool and ping pong tables in the recreation loft; swimming pool; hiking and fine dining at the historic inn.

For over 35 years, Ben Sutton Golf School has attracted students from population centers throughout the northeastern U.S. and around the world to its original location in Sun City Center, Florida, centrally located between Tampa and Sarasota. Prospective and returning students will be able to choose between two fully-equipped instructional facilities depending on their travel, climate and golf preferences.
