Winston-Salem, NC (October 14, 2005) AccuSport International, the developer and manufacturer of the industry leading Vector Launch System, announced today its continued sponsorship and association with the Long Drivers of America and the RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship. The RE/MAX World Long Drive Championship will be held October 19-22 in Mesquite, Nevada, and will be televised on ESPN on Christmas day, and shown in subsequent time-slots. The Vector Launch System will be featured on a two-minute segment to air on ESPN during the broadcast. The company will also sponsor the ball speed segment during the competition as the ball speed for each drive will be displayed on the television broadcast.

AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf swing launch monitors and its Vector Launch System is recognized throughout the golf industry for its accuracy, portability and affordability. The Vector Launch System measures and analyzes launch angle, ball speed, backspin, side spin and side angle to instantaneously quantify the performance of both player and equipment. Vector is in use by nearly every original equipment manufacturer and several thousand retailers and club fitters.

“We have been extremely pleased with our relationship with the Long Drivers of America,” said Randall Tuttle, AccuSport CEO. “Art Sellinger and his team have done a fantastic job establishing the LDA, and we’ve been happy to work with them to provide ball flight information, spin rates and club-speed data. LDA competitors really push the envelope when it comes to shot performance, and can use Vector to instantaneously run ‘what if’ launch scenarios to help them improve their performance. The Vector Launch System is in use daily by the LDA as competitors seek to optimize their swing, equipment and ball flights,” said Tuttle.

Art Sellinger, the president of the Long Drivers of America will be featured on a two-minute segment on the Vector Launch System to air on ESPN. Mr. Sellinger will demonstrate how the Vector Launch System measures the varying results achieved by hitting shots with drivers with different lofts, weights and shafts.

“AccuSport, with its Vector Launch System, gives elite professional long drivers the feedback they need to produce optimal performance,” said Sellinger. “But anyone who plays golf, not just big hitters, will benefit from spending several sessions on the Vector to fine-tune both their swing and equipment. It’s a tremendous tool for game-improvement.”

AccuSport has sponsored the Long Drivers of America for two years, and has gained additional exposure as the LDA has expanded and gained a foothold in the golf industry. “We continue to be excited about our relationship with the LDA, and our role as the ‘Official Launch Monitor of the LDA’ and look forward to a great championship week,” said Tuttle.
