A SUPER SUNDAY FOR HOLMES, TITLEIST

Fairhaven, MA (February 6, 2006) - It was another super Sunday for J.B.
Holmes and Titleist, as the 23-year old, long-hitting rookie earned his
first career PGA Tour title in just his fourth start since earning his
card. Holmes, who relies upon the Titleist Pro V1x golf ball, fired a
final round 5-under 66, including a 5-under 31 on the back nine on Sunday,
to capture the FBR Open by seven shots.
His 21-under 263 total topped a
leaderboard that featured five Titleist Pro V1 golf ball players who tied
for second, including fellow rookie Camilo Villegas, Scott Verplank, Ryan
Palmer, Steve Lowery and J.J. Henry.

Titleist was the golf ball choice of 89 players at the FBR Open, nearly six
times the nearest competitor with 15. It was also the most played brand in
the wedge (104/64) and putter (54/20) categories, and second in drivers
(26) and irons (25).

In addition to relying upon the Pro V1x for his success, the winner's bag
also included Titleist Forged 695CB prototype irons (3-P), Vokey Design
sand (54) and Spin Milled lob wedges (60), and a Scotty Cameron by Titleist
Circa 62 prototype putter.

The combination of the money earned from this week's victory, his
10th-place tie at the Sony Open and his T28 at the Buick Invitational,
makes Holmes the fastest ever to win $1 million on the PGA Tour, surpassing
Pro V1x player Retief Goosen who achieved the milestone in five starts.

Statistically, Holmes was T1 in Putts Per Round (27.0), T8 in Putts Per GIR
(1.660), and 13th in Driving Distance (308.0) at the FBR Open. For the
season, Holmes is 2nd in Driving Distance (313.5) and 4th in Scoring
Average (68.82).

On the PGA European Tour, Titleist ambassador Ernie Els continues to
perform like he has completely recovered from knee surgery, firing a final
round 5-under 67 to advance to a playoff at the Dubai Desert Classic.
Both playoff participants finished at 19-under-par 269. Els relies upon
Titleist equipment from tee-to-green, including the Pro V1x golf ball and
the Titleist Pro Titanium 905R prototype driver and Forged 695MB prototype
irons. Titleist was the golf ball of choice for 93 players, six times the
nearest competitor with 15 at the event.

With an additional victory on the South African Tour, Titleist golf ball
players have accumulated 13 wins across the worldwide professional tours
already this year, 10 more than the nearest competitor with 3.
