2005 PGA Fall Expo Online Registration Now Open
(June 21st 2005) NORWALK, Conn. – PGA Golf Exhibitions announces the opening of online registration for golf industry professionals at www.pgafallexpo.com for the 2005 PGA Fall Expo, Sept. 28-29 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC).
Scheduled during a prime business cycle for thousands of influential PGA Professionals, golf retailers, manufacturers and industry leaders, the 2005 PGA Fall Expo will feature equipment, apparel, accessories and services of some 300 golf-related exhibitors, an expansive education conference, Demo Night, networking functions plus new special events and contests packed into the final two hours of the event.
Registration
The PGA Fall Expo is an industry event and not open to the public. PGA Members, golf buyers and industry professionals can register, make travel arrangements and hotel reservations online at www.pgafallexpo.com or by calling 1-800-840-5628. PGA Members can register easily with their member ID and golf buyers will need to show proof of industry status. Members of golf’s allied organizations and other industry professionals also may easily utilize online registration.
The Show
As the country’s second largest gathering for manufacturers of golf-related merchandise, the PGA Fall Expo facilitates trend spotting, purchasing, career education and professional networking opportunities during the fall business cycle. In addition to seeing some 300 golf-related exhibitors within approximately 50,000 net square feet of exhibit space, attendees also will be able to test equipment in the ETC (equipment test center); discover the hottest apparel; preview the latest golf merchandise in the New Product Center; and participate in final day contests and special events. This year’s Expo features new exhibit hours: Sept. 28th, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. & Sept. 29th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Demo Night & Networking Party
The popular Demo Night returns to the PGA Fall Expo on Sept. 28th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Callaway Golf Center in Las Vegas. Golf’s top equipment and training aid manufacturers will be on hand for PGA Professionals and retailers to personally test products at the Strip’s premier practice facility. The Callaway Golf Center offers a two-tiered 113-stall lighted driving range; putting & chipping greens and a nine-hole lighted par-3 course. A networking party with complimentary catering has been added to this year’s Demo Night to provide additional interaction opportunities among manufacturers and buyers.
Education Conference
An expansive education conference, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 & 29 in the LVCC, will offer six professional development tracks of more than 40 diverse seminars including advanced retailing, growing the game, marketing & promotions, merchandising, personnel & service and retailing basics. Education conference presenters will include leading golf organizations and nationally recognized golf publications.
PGA Golf Exhibitions previously announced an adjustment in 2005 PGA Fall Expo dates to reduce weekend and potential overtime expenses associated with exhibitors’ move in and move out. The 2005 PGA Fall Expo, originally scheduled Sept. 26-28, was adjusted to Sept. 28-29 resulting in a reduction in exhibitor move-in and move-out expenses, plus premier positioning within the LVCC on the main floor.
